Hi Everyone,
This is a 1917 store advertising calendar. I'm going to have to frame it as it has seen it's share of wear but I just fell in love with it. The past two weeks have been busy and stressful but hopefully I'll have some new finds and crafts to share with you soon. I hope everyone is well.

  1. Hey...thanks for stoppin' by, looks like we got a lot in common...the love of old junk! A few years ago I wouldn't even have hesitated about painting that chest white, but now I'm more inclined to leave natural and just painting the icky frames white and leaving the old gold ones alone. I don't like the bright gold ones either, I always paint them.

I just picked up another old Victorian chest with hankie drawers for $40.00, has dark varnish, I'm leaving it too and will just accessorize with whites.

Did you read the post about why we are calling our shop 'WHITE'...the lil' town was nearly wiped out in the floods last year and everyone was told to put a white rag on their doors to let rescuers know they were OK...we had no clue about this at the time...so we say it's a sign and a good omen, to give back and help restore.

    I'll be back...
