The Crows

The crows are calling as if they can feel the gentleness of autumn approaching.
The days been have been just a bit cooler and the old house is slowly beginning to feel like home. Unpacking is slow and constantly I am finding repairs to be done. I've planted hydrangea in pink and lavender around the porch and  just last week there was the first bloom on the gardenia that I've planted in the remembrance garden. I've also planted butterfly bush which is a delight and I have enjoyed the sweet silent, colorful sprites that visit there.  There is so much work and I am not a patient person but there is a joy to the slow rhythm of repairing and decorating an old house and I am so blessed to have my own home again. I'll be posting pictures soon.  Enjoy summer and dream of autumn.

Blessings

Home

I'm really missing my blogging but many things are happening so very fast. I'm working some really long hours at my job and also at my home. That's right we now have our own home. I was able to buy a 100 year old fixer upper and belive me that are time when I am sure that it's way more fixer than upper but I do so love it.  There is a long story as to how it came to be but I will be back soon with lots of pictures and the story. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and I am looking forward to being back to my blog and continuing to work on the new old house.

Be blessed my friends,

Blessed Soltice

As we welcome the coming of new light let us spend time reflecting on the days and loved ones past. Remember that we are a part of what life...
