The crows are calling as if they can feel the gentleness of autumn approaching.
The days been have been just a bit cooler and the old house is slowly beginning to feel like home. Unpacking is slow and constantly I am finding repairs to be done. I've planted hydrangea in pink and lavender around the porch and just last week there was the first bloom on the gardenia that I've planted in the remembrance garden. I've also planted butterfly bush which is a delight and I have enjoyed the sweet silent, colorful sprites that visit there. There is so much work and I am not a patient person but there is a joy to the slow rhythm of repairing and decorating an old house and I am so blessed to have my own home again. I'll be posting pictures soon. Enjoy summer and dream of autumn.Blessings
