I hope everyone is having a nice summer and managing to stay cool. I've been away for a while. It's been a busy, busy season at work and there have been more health issues to deal with but I believe I am on the mend and hope to be blogging on a regular basis again soon. I do stop in whenever possible to catch up on all my favorite bloggers.
The heat this summer has been really hard to deal with but now that it is August I'm starting to feel like autumn is just over my shoulder and well it is my favorite time of the year. Little by little pumpkins and gourds are beginning to appear around the house.
This is a banquet sized tablecloth and napkins that I was so lucky to find this summer; it was purchased in Martinique in the 1960's and never used. I just fell in love with it, and it has organza scallops around the edge. I have a great weakness for linens and white ironstone too. I've found some really sweet treasures this summer and plan to be posting some more pictures soon.
I even added a wonderful antique primitive cupboard to the house and a few more pieces of yelloware that I am really enjoying. We also have a new kitty that I will be telling you about.
It's time to get back to work but hopefully I will be back soon. There's nothing like visiting with my blogger friends to lift me up when I'm down.
